WHY JUST THE WORD?

I have been inspired to put the emphasis back on God’s Word - not a fancy building, entertainment, music or any of the many other things that tend to take away from God’s Word. Therefore we now present to you JUSTTHEWORD.LIVE.
At Justtheword.live both old and new sermons you can apply directly to your life will be available. Many will be from Pastor Gray and other ministers who have a WORD with Purpose.
You will be able to view at least one selected sermon each week on Saturday and Sunday mornings between your regular worship or as your worship. Eventually you will also be able to select a named subject any time on Just the Word web page, justtheword.live, or social networks such as Youtube or FaceBook.
*STILL remember the Bible (Word) tells us to "...not forsake the assembling of ourselves together..."
Meet Your Pastor
Pastor William A. Gray III has been pastoring for over 60 years. He is best known for St Stephens AME Church in Essex Maryland. Through the grace of God , under Pastor Gray, St Stephens grew from 200 members to over more than 1,700 members. God also blessed the ministry with the creation of The Creative Learning Center (a daycare center) which was founded by First Lady Reverend Candace Gray and Pastor Gray in 1990. The Learning Center grew into a high mark school that went to the third grade and was renamed St Stephens Christian Academy. The blessings continued with the building of a 17,000 square foot church facility with construction starting in 1994 to meet the needs of its growing congregation and ministries. Pastor Gray also created The Gathering at St Stephens. There, each week people of all races, backgrounds, the homeless, church members, and members of the community would join together for lunch and Bible study. As many as 50% of the attendees were homeless. Pastor Gray believes that God called him to serve all people. In his retirement God has given Pastor Gray the assignment of developing a true Church without walls (In The Gap Ministry Online Campus) and now a ministry that presents the Bible (the Word) with only the Word and related illustrations.
